Wilkinson Pickups - Are they any good? Has anybody installed/used/tried these pickups? In particular, the humbuckers. The set I'm looking at are 7.4Kohm (neck) and 13.8Kohm (bridge) with metal covers (Gibson LP style). I did a google for reviews but didn't have much luck. Hey, Bought a set of Wilkinson vintage Stratocaster pickups years ago (maybe 2) and complete a squier project. They sounded good but I dismissed them and moved on to next project. This thing REALLY sounds good and looks cool too. It looks kinda like a Filtertron. It is an Alnico V magnet pickup, and to me is similar to a Seymour Duncan JB.
